Nema Predaje Foundation CEO and President of the Board of GNK Dinamo Mrs. Vlatka Peras was elected to the Executive Board of ECA, the prestigious European association of clubs.
ECA is an association of clubs with close to 500 members, and was founded in 2008 by 16 clubs, including GNK Dinamo. Along with Dinamo, the founders included Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus, Manchester United, Bayern, Milan, Ajax and others. The current president is Nasser Al-Khelaifi from PSG.
In the upcoming period from 2023 to 2027, ECA will have a newly formed Executive Board composed of 12 members, while new internal bodies are being formed in certain areas. CEO of our Foundation, Mrs. Peras was elected to the executive board as a representative of the ED&I Champions (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) group. Supporting the ECA’s ongoing efforts in the area of equality, diversity and inclusion, the ECA has set a minimum of 20% and a target of 30% for the representation of women in internal bodies and has subsequently appointed new members of the body.
– I would like to thank everyone for the support they gave me for my appointment to the ECA executive board. This is a continuation of the presence of GNK Dinamo in the most important football bodies. That’s why I would like to take the opportunity to thank Amra Peternel, who was a member of this executive committee in the past term and contributed to the club’s image within this important football organization with her work. In the upcoming mandate, I want to be active in communicating all those issues that arise in clubs that come from outside the strongest football markets. I think that the topic of the sustainability of clubs in the football ecosystem will be increasingly important in the future. Dinamo is an example of success here, and I want to contribute to the work of the Executive Board with that experience – said Mrs. Peras.
