In cooperation with the Krijesnica Association, Dinamo’s foundation sent letters to the children in two hospitals on which everyone could write their wishes. The foundation received completed letters from 100 children between the ages of a few months and 18 years and started shopping for gifts. A total of over 200 gifts were prepared at the Maksimir Stadium so that all children would receive their gifts before Christmas. Toys, games, technology, dolls, plush toys, clothes, cars, sweets, make-up, there were various wishes to which we added a hundred Lino bears and sweet packages. We experienced the most emotional wishes of the little ones, which read – “health”, and above all, we wish all the girls and boys a lot of health and a speedy recovery.
With the help of volunteers from the Krijesnica association, the foundation packed all the gifts with a message for each child in its holiday workshop, and the first on the schedule to visit was the hospital next to the Maksimir stadium – Children’s Hematology and Oncology KBC Zagreb.
The delegation of the Nema Predaje Foundation and GNK Dinamo, represented by the club board president and foundation manager Vlatka Peras, club board member Danijel Tomačić and foundation board president Iva Cigrovskij, visited the children at Rebro hospital in Zagreb on Wednesday, where the presentation of gifts to girls and boys was held there they treat malignant diseases. Youth leader Mihael Severinac and financial administrative assistant Žana Salapić were present on behalf of the Krijesnica Association.
The meeting with the children in the hospital was very emotional and with the warm hospitality of the institute’s head nurse, Mrs. Mirjana, who along with her colleagues and the medical team braves, cares for, and looks after many children in the department every day, especially when their parents cannot be with them.
