New donations of the Foundation

While Dinamo players are starting the 2021/22 competition season with new good results and successes, the Foundation “Nema predaje” continues with new projects and activities.

On Thursday, July 15, the official foundation of the GNK Dinamo made several new donations from three areas of work. With the consent of the members of the Board of Trustees, four donations were successfully fulfiled.

  • Donation of new sports wheelchairs in the amount of 45.000,00 kuna to the best Croatian wheelchair tennis player Ante Joskić
  • Donation of a laptop for a boy Filip, a seventh grade student who will have an easier learning and schooling process as a child with disabilities
  • Donation of a defibrillator in the amount of 20.000,00 kuna to student Noel Rok, who has a congenital heart defect, for use at the Polytechnic of Međimurje in Čakovec
  • Donation of adequate functional laboratory equipment in the amount of 21.000,00 kuna for health care of 270 users of the a retirement home Ksaver

 

The Foundation Nema predaje has made a decision to donate new sports wheelchairs in the amount of 45.000,00 kuna to the best Croatian wheelchair tennis player Ante Joskić. He works as the secretary of the Croatian Association for Wheelchair Tennis and is also a Dinamo fan. With the new sports wheelchair, Anto will have a much greater opportunity to achieve new sports successes, as well as the desire to be the first Croatian to perform at the Paralympic Games.

Further, the foundation made a decision to donate a laptop to a boy Filip, a seventh grade student at  Elementary School in Hrvatska Kostajnica, who will have an easier learning and schooling process as a child with disabilities. The area of Hrvatska Kostajnica was also damaged in the devastating earthquake in Banovina. The foundation made the decision to donate a laptop at the request of his teacher. The amount of the donation is 3.800,00 kuna.

The third donation is the donation of a defibrillator for use at the Polytechnic of Međimurje in Čakovec. At the request of student Noel Rok, who is a 2nd year student of tourism and sports management and who is also a person with a congenital heart defect, the foundation decided to donate an AED / AVD device that is crucial in cardiac arrest and carries the ability to save someone.  Through this donation, the Dinamo Foundation wants to show awareness of the importance of preventing heart death with the help of a defibrillator. The amount of the donation is 20.000,00 kuna.

The fourth donation belongs to the category of social solidarity, and the foundation decided to help Retirement home Ksaver. Through a donation in the amount of 20.000,00 kuna, the space for health care of users of 270 elderly people is equipped with adequate functional laboratory equipment that is necessary for the work of health professionals.

In the coming period, the Foundation will publish more of each of these donations separately through more extensive stories, conversations, interviews and interesting content.
