In the second part of the holiday present campaign for children in Zagreb hospitals, the Foundation Nema predaje visited children being treated for malignant diseases at the Zagreb Tumor Institute.
Let us remind you that, in cooperation with the Krijesnica Association, Dinamo’s foundation prepared gifts for 100 children who are being treated at KBC Zagreb and the Institute for Tumors in order to make the upcoming holidays a little brighter. With the help of volunteers from the Krijesnica association, the foundation packed over 200 gifts with a message for each child in its holiday workshop, followed by a visit to a hospital in the west of Zagreb on Thursday.
The same touching and emotional atmosphere as the day before did not leave anyone indifferent this time either. The girls and boys were given gifts in their rooms along with hugs and a few words of encouragement and support. There were several great cheerleaders and fans of Dinamo, whom we cheered up with gifts and autographs, and who we will certainly host at the Maksimir stadium when their health condition allows it. Iva Cigrovskij, president of the board of directors, was present on behalf of the foundation this time.
At the end of the campaign, a big thank you goes to the Krijesnica association, which made it possible for us to carry out the campaign and whose employees are brave every day and provide support to small patients and their parents, as well as to the entire medical staff, who, through their warmth and kindness, which we have personally seen, surely make it at least a little easier children’s stay in the hospital for treatment. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Zoran Mitrović, one of the founders of the Krijesnica association, who has been selflessly helping families facing malignant diseases for more than 20 years, and to the employee Jelena Češljar for her help in the entire project.
